Ferrero Rocher waffle cake

STEP 1
Products needed to complete the recipe.

Beat eggs into a deep bowl, add sugar, mix.
STEP 3
Using a whisk or electric mixer, beat the egg-sugar mixture until it triples in volume.
STEP 4
Pour the hazelnuts, previously ground in a coffee grinder into coarse flour, into a separate bowl.
STEP 5
Add sifted flour, cocoa and baking powder to the hazelnuts. Then mix everything thoroughly.
STEP 6
Add the nut-flour mixture to the egg-sugar mixture in 3 stages, stirring very carefully from top to bottom each time. Make sure there are no lumps left.
STEP 7
After adding the nut-flour mixture, the future dough will settle a little.
STEP 8
Pour the dough into a greased form and sprinkled with flour or breadcrumbs. Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes at 175 degrees.
STEP 9
While the dough is baking, break the chocolate into pieces and melt it in the microwave or in a water bath, stirring with a spatula. Cool the chocolate to room temperature.
STEP 10
Meanwhile, grind the waffles into crumbs. For this cake, it is better to take waffles with milk, chocolate or nut filling.
STEP 11
Add room temperature Nutella chocolate spread to the cooled melted chocolate and mix thoroughly.
STEP 12
Add room temperature whipped butter to the chocolate mixture.
STEP 13
Stir the chocolate-butter mixture until smooth. The cream is ready.
STEP 14
Cut the cooled cake into 2 or 3 layers, brush each with cream and sprinkle with waffle crumbs.
STEP 15
Sprinkle the finished cake on the sides and top with wafer crumbs, decorate the top cake along the edge of the circle with Ferrero Rocher candies cut into halves. Place the cake in the refrigerator and remove it 30 minutes before serving.
