Delicious mushroom pate
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a delicious mushroom pate for the winter? Prepare your food. You can use any mushrooms for cooking - forest mushrooms (in my case, boletus mushrooms), champignons, oyster mushrooms. If you use fresh ones, first clean them of dirt.
STEP 2
Boil fresh forest mushrooms for 15-40 minutes, depending on the variety. Then drain them in a colander and let the water drain. There is no need to boil champignons and oyster mushrooms, you just need to wash them. Thaw frozen mushrooms delicately by transferring them from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.
STEP 3
Peel the vegetables, rinse well and dry. Cut into large pieces suitable for your chopper.
STEP 4
First, run the onion in the food processor.
STEP 5
Then remove the onion and add the carrots. Grind carrots to desired consistency. If you don’t have a chopper, you can finely chop the onion and grate the carrots.
STEP 6
Heat vegetable oil for frying in a frying pan and fry the onion over low heat until translucent. Then add carrots to the onions. Sauté vegetables together until soft, 5 to 10 minutes.
STEP 7
While your vegetables are stewing, take care of the mushrooms. Place the mushrooms in the chopper bowl.
STEP 8
And scroll them until they are mushy. You can chop mushrooms using a meat grinder.
STEP 9
Add the mushroom mixture to the frying pan with the vegetables, stir, cover the frying pan with a lid, and turn the heat to low. Simmer the mushrooms until all the liquid has evaporated; the simmering time also depends on the type of mushrooms you choose.
STEP 10
When there is no liquid left, place the resulting mushroom pate into sterile jars and screw on the sterile lids. Wrap in a warm cloth until completely cool. Store the finished pate in the refrigerator.
STEP 11
A delicious mushroom pate made from mushrooms is ready for the winter. Bon appetit!
