Deep fried potatoes

STEP 1
For this recipe we take potatoes and refined vegetable oil. And then we look step by step on how to cook French fries.
STEP 2
For this dish we will use mature potatoes. We clean it and wash it.
STEP 3
Using a sharp knife, cut the peeled potatoes into thin strips. You can use a special grooved knife, then the fries will be grooved.
STEP 4
After this, transfer the potato straws into a deep bowl and fill it with warm water for 15 minutes. This must be done in order to remove excess starch. Then we thoroughly wash the potatoes under running water and remove excess moisture using a kitchen towel, simply laying the potatoes on it.
STEP 5
Now pour refined vegetable oil into the deep fryer, turn it on and heat it to about 160 degrees. When the oil boils, add potato strips into the oil in portions and deep-fry them for 3-5 minutes.
STEP 6
Remove the potatoes with a slotted spoon and place on napkins to drain excess fat. We fry the next batch according to the same scheme.
