  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry crispy cauliflower in a frying pan? Very easy! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. In addition to these spices, you can use your own to taste. Using this recipe, you can cook not only cauliflower, but also broccoli. You can use any vegetable oil suitable for frying. Take any beer you like: dark or light.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rinse the cabbage thoroughly, dry it, remove the green leaves, and disassemble the cabbage into inflorescences. Cut large inflorescences into 2-3 parts, leave small ones as is. You can use frozen cabbage instead of fresh cabbage. It must first be defrosted and the water released during defrosting must be drained.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Boil the inflorescences in boiling salted water for about 5-7 minutes. At the same time, the cabbage should not become boiled and lose its elasticity.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then place the cabbage in a colander and let the water drain. If necessary, dry the cabbage with paper towels, otherwise during frying the boiling oil will begin to shoot when it comes into contact with water and splash the entire kitchen with fat.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Now prepare the batter. In a bowl, combine the egg, flour and salt. Mix everything thoroughly with a fork or whisk until smooth.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour in the beer and stir well again.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

It may take you more or less flour. The finished batter should be quite viscous, without lumps, but flowing. It should not flow from the cabbage inflorescences like water.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter on all sides.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the prepared cauliflower and fry, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes until done. The exact time depends on the degree of heating and the size of the inflorescences.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Transfer the finished cabbage to a plate and serve. Bon appetit!

Loved the crispy cauliflower in the pan. I pre-blanched the cauliflower for 5 minutes from the moment it boiled, then put it on a sieve and cooled slightly. The cabbage is large, so I increased the amount of batter proportionally and instead of 2 large eggs, I took 3 small ones. I like it better when battered foods are fried in a lot of oil, so I fried them in a small cauldron. The cauliflower turned out really crispy.
