STEP 1
How to make cookies without eggs and butter? Prepare your food. Take natural, aromatic honey, it is better if it is liquid. Melt the thick candied honey in a water bath. Use refined, odorless vegetable oil.
STEP 2
Combine sifted flour, baking powder and sugar. Sifting will not only remove possible debris from the flour, but will also saturate it with oxygen, which will improve the quality of baking. Mix dry ingredients.
STEP 3
Mix honey with vegetable oil as much as possible, it all depends on the thickness of the honey. Add the mixture to the dough. Stir. Start adding water to the resulting crumbs in parts, kneading the dough. Be prepared that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. It should become homogeneous, not sticky, but remain soft.
STEP 4
Dust the surface of the table with flour, roll out the dough into a thin layer (3-4 mm).
STEP 5
Use molds to press out shapes or cut the dough into pieces. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 180 degrees for literally 10 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm or cooled with tolu - it is good in any form. Bon appetit!
