STEP 1

Prepare the ingredients. To prepare a coffee cake with cherries we will need: ripe cherries, flour, soft butter, eggs, sugar, instant coffee, water (boiling water), baking powder.
STEP 2

Wash the cherries, remove the stems. Remove the seeds. The net weight of pitted cherries should be about 250 g. Drain off the juice that has been released.
STEP 3

Dissolve coffee in 1 tbsp. l. boiling water To stir thoroughly.
STEP 4

Grind soft butter with sugar.
STEP 5

Pour coffee into butter.
STEP 6

Beat everything thoroughly until smooth.
STEP 7

Sift the flour with baking powder and add parts to the dough.
STEP 8

Beat with a mixer until smooth. You should get a thick sticky dough.
STEP 9

Place dough and cherries in layers in a baking dish.
STEP 10

The last layer should be dough. Bake the cake for about 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 200°C.
STEP 11

Remove the finished cake from the mold, cut into pieces and serve. Bon appetit!
