Cod fillet baked in the oven in foil

STEP 1

How to bake cod fillet in foil? First, wash the fish well and dry it. If necessary, defrost it in advance in the microwave, on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator, or at room temperature. Cut the cod fillet into portions. Cut the foil into squares, fold the edges and place the fish on them. Wash the parsley and dry it.
STEP 2

Melt the butter in a separate bowl. I do this in the microwave, but you can also do it on the stove. Add lemon juice and chopped parsley to the melted butter. Add also salt and pepper to taste. Stir.
STEP 3

Spread the prepared oil mixture with herbs evenly over the cod fillet. Make sure it doesn't leak over the edges of the foil.
STEP 4

Place onion sliced into rings on top. Fold the edges of the foil towards the middle without covering the fish completely. Place in a preheated room at 180 degrees. oven for 20-25 minutes. Consider the features of your oven when baking fish.
STEP 5

Serve the oven-baked cod directly in the foil. Bon appetit!
