A fragrant, satisfying and very tasty oriental dish! Classic beef lagman is a recipe from Asian cuisine. There is a legend according to which lagman appeared. Three travelers once met, they were hungry, one had flour and meat with him, the second had vegetables, and the third had only a cauldron. And together they prepared a dish, which became lagman. There are many varieties of this dish, but the main ingredients do not change: meat, vegetables and noodles. You can prepare lagman in the form of soup; some people like a thicker version.

    How to make classic beef lagman? Prepare your food. Wash and dry the meat. Wash and peel the vegetables.

    Cut the onions and carrots into cubes. Add to the meat, fry for a few minutes.

    Cut the pepper and radish into cubes, garlic into slices, add to the meat, fry a little more.

    Add tomato paste. I used pureed tomatoes, you need more of them. During the season of delicious tomatoes, it is better to take them. Stir and keep on fire for another two minutes.

    Pour boiling water over the meat and vegetables until the water completely covers them. Salt and season to taste. Simmer on medium heat for an hour.

    Simmer until the end. If you want lagman as a first course, you can add water during the stewing process. I made mine thicker.
