Chocolate sausage with condensed milk from cookies and nuts

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make chocolate sausage with condensed milk from cookies and nuts? Prepare your food. Take the most common shortbread cookies, such as “Jubilee”, “For tea”, “Baked milk”. Choose the highest quality, natural oil, without the addition of vegetable fats, that complies with GOST. Be sure to remove it from the refrigerator in advance, the butter should become soft.
STEP 2

Grind the cookies in any available way - in a blender, chopper, through a meat grinder or with a regular rolling pin, as I did. To do this, place the cookies in a thick plastic bag and beat it well with a rolling pin. Some of the cookies will crumble into crumbs, and some will remain in pieces. Stop at this stage - then the cut of the sausage will contain imitation fat. If the crumb is too uniform, this effect will not work.
STEP 3

Take a large bowl and pour the crushed cookies into it.
STEP 4

Add soft butter to it and stir. At this stage you will not be able to achieve uniformity, but this is not required.
STEP 5

Sift cocoa powder into cookies. Take natural cocoa; a drink like Nesquik will not work. Sifting will make the cocoa more homogeneous and all the lumps will break up.
STEP 6

Take the nuts and chop them into small pieces. You can pre-dry the nuts in a dry frying pan - they will become crispier and more aromatic. Walnuts are best suited for sausage - they are the softest. But you can put in it whatever you like or have in stock. Or don't use them at all. Sometimes I add peeled sunflower seeds to this sausage.
STEP 7

Add nuts to the cookie mixture. Pour condensed milk into it.
STEP 8

Mix the mass well. It won't be so easy to do this with a spoon because of the large pieces of cookies, so I mixed everything with my hands.
STEP 9

Take pieces of cling film and place the chocolate mixture on them in the form of sausages. Twist the film, forming tight, even sausages. Put them in the refrigerator. After an hour, take it out and roll the sausages a little on the table until they become round. The oil will have hardened a little and it will be easy to do. Place the sausages back into the refrigerator until completely set. I held it all night.
STEP 10

Remove the finished sausage from the film and roll in cocoa powder or powdered sugar. Cut it into pieces and serve. Bon appetit!
