  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make chocolate fondant? Prepare and measure food. Take only good quality chocolate and butter; the taste of the dessert will depend on their taste.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place the chocolate, broken into pieces, and butter in a bowl. Place the water in the pan on the fire to heat. We will make a water bath. This means that the bowl of chocolate will need to be placed over a pan of boiling water. Therefore, choose dishes of the appropriate size and not made of plastic. The water should not reach the bottom of the bowl. Melt the chocolate and butter, stirring with a spatula, until smooth.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

While the chocolate is melting, beat the eggs with sugar. Beat with a mixer until a fluffy light mass is formed.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add sifted flour to the beaten eggs and mix gently. You may need a little less or more flour, depending on the consistency of the dough. Read more about the properties of flour in the article at the end of this recipe.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add melted chocolate. It should cool slightly, but not become cold. Mix gently with a whisk until smooth.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Grease the pan in which you will bake the fondant with butter. If it is not silicone, but iron, then sprinkle flour or cocoa on top of the butter, shake off the excess. Pour the batter evenly into the molds. It will not rise much, so there is no need to leave a lot of space.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the pan with the dough to bake. I baked the fondant for 8 minutes, but it may take you less or more time. A crust should form on top and craters like these should form. I don’t recommend baking it longer, otherwise the filling won’t be liquid. Focus on your oven and the appearance of the cupcakes. Read about ovens in the article below the steps. Remove the prepared fondants from the oven. Serve them hot. Bon appetit!

It turned out amazingly delicious, the filling comes out, the cupcake itself is delicious. The only thing, I think, is that ice cream is necessary when serving, because you still get a strong chocolate taste, and with ice cream there will be an ideal balance.

It turned out delicious, but there were some incidents 😅 the second batch turned out much better (I didn’t have time to take a photo). Maybe I should try a different baking dish. Thanks for the recipe ☺️

Chocolate fondant is an ideal dessert for those with a sweet tooth! First, I took dark chocolate, broke it into pieces and placed it together with butter (82.5) in a water bath. While the chocolate and butter were melting, I beat 3 eggs with sugar. Then I added flour to the beaten eggs. The chocolate melted, gave it 2 minutes to cool and added it to the eggs with flour, mixed everything. The dough is ready! At this time, the oven was preheated to 180°, the dough was poured into silicone molds and set for 8 minutes. It turned out to be 8 chocolate cupcakes with the filling flowing out. Very delicious, I recommend it to everyone!

I didn't get such a liquid center. But I think it was my own fault, I overcooked the cupcakes in the oven, so the chocolate inside was absorbed into the cakes. Or maybe I didn’t put in enough of it? Well, they need to be served hot, because the chocolate cools down quite quickly. Or maybe it's just me...
