  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

    Ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

We bring the chocolate to a pleasant-smelling black slurry using hot water. To do this, lower a small container of chocolate into a large pan of boiling water. The method is called a “water bath”, and it means that the boiling water should not directly touch what is being heated through a small container.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

    Mix cream with sugar.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

We mix melted chocolate with sugar and cream. You can beat their mixture either with a mixer or with a simple hand whisk.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Soften the butter to beat it together with vanilla and grated cottage cheese. Beat separately from the chocolate mixture. Please note that the cottage cheese must be tender, not dry. With dry cottage cheese, the mass will become too crumbly for normal Easter to come out.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The whipped mixture of cottage cheese and butter is transferred to the cooled chocolate, gradually, spoon by spoon. Beat the final preparation for Easter with the same whisk/mixer.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour boiling water over the candied fruits and leave for 10 minutes to remove excess sugar and coloring.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Mix nuts, chopped candied fruits into the curd mass, you can use raisins.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

The pastry mold is covered with clean white gauze (so that the cottage cheese does not touch the mold itself, otherwise it may leak out). Place the design on the bottom of the form.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Then we spread half of the curd mass, here you can place candied fruits along the edge for decoration and lay out the rest of the curd mass.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Cover the top with gauze, place a bowl and a load on it, for example, a jar of water or pickles. Place in the cold and leave for at least 12 hours.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Carefully tip the finished curd chocolate Easter onto a plate and remove from the gauze. You can additionally decorate with candied fruits or chocolate chips.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

    Bon appetit!

And I liked it! The chocolate taste of cottage cheese, all the additives in the form of raisins and dried apricots have no place here, but I would add almonds, both for taste and smell, I think it won’t hurt! We should try it!

Thanks for the delicious recipe. Instead of cream, you can use thick sour cream. If the cottage cheese is grainy, you must first grind it with a blender or grind it through a sieve, or you can pass it through a meat grinder.
