Chocolate ball cake
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a chocolate ball cake without baking? To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients. The butter should be at room temperature, so remove it from the refrigerator in advance. Read the article at the end of the recipe to find out how to choose the right cake pan.
STEP 2
Rinse the walnuts and dry them in a dry frying pan.
STEP 3
Then finely chop the nuts with a knife. You can replace walnuts with any others you like: hazelnuts, pecans, cashews, etc.
STEP 4
Place soft butter at room temperature in a bowl. Beat with a mixer until fluffy.
STEP 5
Continue creaming the butter while gradually adding the condensed milk. For different types of condensed milk, see the article at the end of this recipe under the steps.
STEP 6
The result should be a fluffy, homogeneous mass. If you wish, you can add a little vanilla flavoring or cocoa to it if you want the cake to have chocolate cream.
STEP 7
Place chocolate balls and chopped walnuts in a bowl with cream. In addition to nuts, you can add dried fruits (raisins, chopped dried apricots or prunes, dried cherries or cranberries) to the cake.
STEP 8
Mix everything with a spoon. All the balls must be covered with cream so that the cake does not fall apart when it is removed from the mold.
STEP 9
Line the sides of the cooking ring (Ø 14-16 cm) with cling film and place on a plate. Place the prepared mixture into the cooking ring and smooth it out. You can also decorate the top of the cake with chocolate balls. But it’s better to do this right away so that they adhere to the surface of the cake when the cream hardens. Otherwise, they will scatter in different directions when cutting the cake into pieces. Place the cake in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours to harden.
STEP 10
When the cake has set properly, remove the cooking ring. Decorate the cake with fresh fruit on top and serve. It is better to eat this cake made from chocolate balls with condensed milk right away, on the same day, or at most the next day, because on the third day the balls become very damp and the whole cake loses its taste . Bon appetit!
