Otherwise, they will scatter in different directions when cutting the cake into pieces. Place the cake in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours to harden.

“I don’t trust cakes without baking” - that’s what I always said about cakes that simply sit in the refrigerator but are not baked. But as soon as I saw this recipe for a cake made from chocolate balls here, I immediately decided: I want it!))) And finally I made it. I’ll admit right away that my doubts didn’t leave me until the tasting itself. I was afraid that the cake would be very sweet, because condensed milk is sweet, and so are the chocolate balls. And I was afraid that I might be too fat. But please read to the end)) I also diluted the walnuts with almonds, having previously removed their skins with boiling water and lightly dried them in a frying pan. An important nuance was that I do not have a cooking ring, and my springform pan has a diameter too large for the amount of ingredients, which would make the cake short. And I decided to form the cake upside down. I visually figured out which salad bowl would fit the volume, lined it inside with cling film, sprinkled some almonds and chocolate balls on the “bottom” for decoration, and laid the cake mixture tightly on top. It turned out just right! She covered the top with a flat plate, turned everything over and put it in the refrigerator to steep. After some time, I removed the bowl with the film without any problems. And what happened in the end: my fears were not justified! The cake turned out to be very tasty, moderately sweet, and not very greasy. We ate half of it right away with tea, how we liked it))) When cutting, however, it broke a little, but I think this is due to the fact that the condensed milk I got was a bit thick, which is why the mixture of condensed milk and butter turned out insufficient liquid for “gluing” the balls. But nevertheless, this did not spoil the impression. Interesting recipe, very unusual for me. This is delicious!

The chocolate ball cake has won the hearts of my sweet tooth! Now I know how else I can use ready-made breakfast cereals. I used fatty butter for the cake - 85%. The cream turned out thick, the balls did not become sour in it. From the nuts I took peanuts. In general, I think any nuts will work here. It turned out very tasty, perfect with hot sweet tea! This dessert hasn’t stagnated in our house for a long time. I recommend it to all sweet tooth lovers!
