STEP 1
How to bake chicken with potatoes and garlic in the oven for the New Year? Prepare your food. It is better to take the chicken chilled, but if it is frozen, then defrost it first. Wash the carcass and dry it well. Choose small potatoes for this dish; it will look more elegant.
STEP 2
Prepare the marinade. How to make a marinade? Peel the garlic and pass through a press. Mix kefir, garlic and spices. Choose them according to your taste. Stir.
STEP 3
Pour the marinade over the chicken and refrigerate overnight. If you do not have time for this, then leave the chicken to marinate for at least 2 hours. Turn the carcass over a couple of times during the marinating process.
STEP 4
Prepare vegetables for garnish. Finely chop the garlic.
STEP 5
Wash the bell pepper, remove seeds and cut into strips.
STEP 6
Wash and peel the potatoes well. If you have large tubers, then cut them into pieces.
STEP 7
Combine potatoes, bell pepper, garlic and spices in a large bowl. Pour vegetable oil into them and stir.
STEP 8
Line a baking dish with parchment, lay out the chicken, and arrange the vegetables around nicely. Bake the dish in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 1 hour. The chicken should be golden brown and the potatoes should be soft. Place the finished chicken on a plate. Arrange the roasted vegetables around. Serve to the table. Bon appetit!
