Chicken lentil soup with potatoes and herbs

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
We prepare all the ingredients needed for the soup.
STEP 2
We cut the chicken into pieces. A few parts of it will be enough for a small volume of soup. Wash the meat and set it to cook. When the water boils, add salt to your taste. We reduce the fire. After 45 minutes the broth will be ready.
STEP 3
Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
STEP 4
Three peeled carrots on a fine grater.
STEP 5
In a frying pan with oil, first sauté the onion and then add the grated carrots. Simmer everything a little, then stir and turn off.
STEP 6
I used new potatoes. We clean it and cut it into cubes.
STEP 7
When the chicken meat is cooked, add potatoes to the broth. It will cook pretty quickly.
STEP 8
Since my potatoes are young, after 10 minutes you can add red lentils, just wash them first under running water. It cooks for about 10-15 minutes.
STEP 9
When the potatoes and lentils are ready, add the frying made in advance. Check the soup for taste and add more salt if necessary. Let it simmer for just a couple of minutes and turn it off.
STEP 10
