Chicken hearts in sour cream sauce in a frying pan
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make chicken hearts in sour cream sauce in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Use spices according to your taste.
STEP 2
Clean the hearts from excess fat, blood clots and films, and rinse thoroughly under cold running water. Cut the hearts lengthwise into 4 pieces.
STEP 3
Peel the onion, rinse and cut into small cubes. Heat a deep frying pan with a thick bottom, carefully so as not to burn yourself, pour vegetable oil into it and add chopped onion. Fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until soft. It took me about 3 minutes.
STEP 4
Then add the chopped hearts to the onion, stir and simmer over high heat for 10 minutes.
STEP 5
Then add salt, add bay leaf and stir.
STEP 6
Pour water over the hearts until they are completely covered, cover with a lid and simmer for 20-25 minutes over medium heat.
STEP 7
To prepare the sauce, mix the remaining water (I got a little more than half a glass), sour cream and flour. This time I made the sauce thinner, so I added 1 spoon of flour. If you want it thicker, you can add more.
STEP 8
Peel the garlic and pass through a press. When the hearts are ready, add the sauce and, stirring, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 9
When the sauce thickens, add garlic and spices.
STEP 10
Stir and remove from heat. Before serving, hearts in sour cream sauce can be sprinkled with chopped herbs.
