Chicken fillet with oranges and cheese

Wash the chicken fillet and dry it well. Cut into portions of the desired size. You can cut each fillet lengthwise into two parts.

Wash the oranges well. Squeeze juice from one fruit. You can use a citrus juicer.

Prepare the marinade. Combine orange juice with olive oil, salt, finely chopped parsley, Provençal herbs and basil. Mix the mixture well.

Place the chicken fillet in a convenient container and pour in the marinade. It is desirable that the fillet be covered with liquid as much as possible; this must be taken into account when choosing dishes. Leave the fillet to marinate for 1-1.5 hours. During this time, the chicken will be soaked in orange juice, which will make it softer, and the aromatic herbs will open up a little.

Then place the chicken fillet along with the marinade in a baking dish.

Cut the orange into thin slices.

Place orange slices between the fillet pieces and on top.

Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes until lightly browned.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
