Chicken fillet in sour cream sauce in a frying pan
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make chicken fillet in sour cream sauce in a frying pan? Prepare your food. Sour cream is suitable for any fat content, I used 15%. In addition to pepper, you can use any seasonings you like. It is better to purchase chicken fillet chilled, since repeated freezing and thawing loses most of the nutrients. Rinse it thoroughly, then dry it. Cut the fillet into small pieces.
STEP 2
Peel the onions and cut into half rings.
STEP 3
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it over low heat. Place the onion in the pan. Fry until translucent, about 5 minutes, stirring. Next, add the chicken fillet to the pan. First, increase the heat to maximum and, stirring constantly, fry the meat until the color changes. Then reduce the heat to medium and fry, stirring with a spatula, for about 5 more minutes. How to choose a frying pan and oil, read the separate articles at the end of the recipe.
STEP 4
At the same time, prepare the sour cream filling; it’s faster and more convenient to do this using a blender. Place sour cream in a blender bowl. Add salt and ground black pepper. Add wheat flour, pour in cold water. Instead of water, you can add chicken or vegetable broth to the sauce, it will turn out tastier. Using an immersion blender, blend the ingredients until smooth. If you don't have a blender, mix the filling with a whisk or fork.
STEP 5
When the chicken meat turns lightly brown, pour sour cream sauce into the pan. Stir quickly with a spatula so that the sauce does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Read all the subtleties of adding sour cream so that it does not curdle in the article at the end of this recipe.
STEP 6
Immediately reduce the heat to low and simmer the chicken in the sauce for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. The main thing is not to let the sauce boil too much, otherwise the sour cream may curdle and turn into flakes. Turn off the heat. The dish is ready. Chicken fillet in sour cream sauce can be served with any side dish; mashed potatoes, buckwheat, and rice are perfect. Bon appetit!
