STEP 1
How to bake chicken fillet chops with tomatoes and cheese in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. Wash the chicken fillet, dry it, cut it into thin long pieces, about 0.5 centimeters thick. Beat each of them with a kitchen hammer on both sides. If you don't have a special hammer, you can beat the meat with the blunt side of a knife.
STEP 2
You can use any hard cheese, the main thing is to take one that will melt during baking. Grate the cheese on a medium or fine grater.
STEP 3
Rinse the tomatoes well under running water. Dry with napkins. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices, removing the stems. Peel the onions and cut into half rings.
STEP 4
Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Place a layer of chicken meat in it, salt it and pepper to taste. Sprinkle the chicken with chopped onions. Place tomato slices on top.
STEP 5
Peel a couple of cloves of garlic and finely chop with a knife or pass through a press. Sprinkle the tomatoes with chopped garlic.
STEP 6
In a bowl, mix sour cream with water until a homogeneous liquid is obtained. Carefully pour the sour cream sauce onto the baking sheet so that it covers the layer of chicken fillet, but no more.
STEP 7
Sprinkle the tomatoes and garlic with grated cheese. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cover the top of the pan with the chops with foil so that the meat is well cooked. After 15-25 minutes, remove the foil. By this time, almost all the liquid will have evaporated. Let the cheese melt and brown, bake the dish for about 15 minutes, until golden brown. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven.

But the time it takes to prepare a dish may take more or less, depending on the operation of the oven, the volume of the mold and the number of ingredients used, as well as the quality of the products. Serve the finished dish hot. Chicken chops are good with fresh vegetables and herbs, optionally with a glass of wine. Bon appetit!
