Tender chicken chops with cheese will decorate any table. And preparing them will even bring pleasure - everything is so simple and quick.

Chicken chops with chicken cheese

To prepare simple chicken chops with cheese, you will need a minimum set of ingredients (although the composition will depend on the specific recipe). These are: chicken fillet, egg, salt, spices and cheese.

The dish is prepared following the example of batter. That is, everything that is not chicken meat, in our case, will be batter, in which you need to roll/dip pieces of chops. And, like any batter, you can prepare it in a hundred different ways with a different set of ingredients. It can be: beer, corn flakes, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, sour cream, cream and much more - this is where the imagination of the author of each recipe comes into play.

The ideal choice would be, of course, breasts. But the backs and, in general, those areas of the chicken carcass that are more or less large in size are also good. Since chicken has a more delicate structure compared to beef, it must be beaten very delicately, without overdoing it. For each piece, literally two or three blows with a special hammer are enough. Then they need to be salted and peppered, and only then dipped in batter and fried in oil on both sides.

Chicken chops can be prepared with cheese and without batter. For each ready-made hot piece of fried meat, place a slice of cheese so that it “melts” to occupy its entire surface. This dish looks very beautiful, but there’s nothing to say about the taste.

If you can create a stable composition, then between the cheese and chicken you can place pickled or fried onions, a slice of tomato or pineapple. The spread cheese holds it all together quite well. Then you can bake it in the oven if you don’t feel like frying in oil too much.

You can serve chops as an independent dish (especially if it contains additional products) or with any suitable side dish: buckwheat, potatoes, pasta, and so on.
