STEP 1
How to bake juicy chicken breasts in the oven with mayonnaise? First, prepare the necessary ingredients. For this dish, you can use skinless, boneless chicken fillet, or use whole skin-on chicken breasts. They can be left whole or cut in half lengthwise. But keep in mind that the weight of breasts with bones will be greater than just fillets, so calculate the number of servings not by the weight of the chicken, but by the number of breast halves (1 half - 1 serving).
STEP 2
Wash the chicken fillet and dry with paper towels.
STEP 3
Cut a whole head of garlic lengthwise into two halves.
STEP 4
Peel the remaining two cloves of garlic and pass through a press or grate on a fine grater.
STEP 5
Add chicken spices, curry, ground black pepper, salt and chopped garlic to mayonnaise. Mix everything well. When using a ready-made chicken spice mixture, be sure to read the ingredients on the package. Often such mixtures already contain salt and pepper, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting and peppering the dish.
STEP 6
Coat the chicken breasts on all sides with the resulting mayonnaise sauce and leave to marinate for 1 hour at room temperature. If you plan to marinate the meat longer, place it in the refrigerator.
STEP 7
Place the chicken in mayonnaise in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil. Spread the sauce remaining in the bowl on top. Place the cut head of garlic next to it. Place the chicken breasts in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for 40-45 minutes. If you have bone-in meat, it may take a little longer. Refer to the timing of your oven. If the meat is starting to burn but is not done yet, cover the pan with foil.
