  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to cook broth from chicken breasts? Prepare your food. Take the breast on the bones - the broth will be a little richer. Wash and peel the onions and carrots, but do not cut them - you will need the whole vegetables. You will need dill for serving; you can omit it or use other herbs to taste. You can add bay leaves and peppercorns during cooking.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the breast and remove the skin. Remove excess fat - this will make the broth more dietary. Cut the fillet from the bone.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Take a pan of the appropriate size. Pour clean cold water into it. For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it may give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste. Bring water to a boil and place the bone in it. Meat protein will immediately coagulate in boiling water and will not turn into foam, which usually occurs when cooking broth.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Cook the bone for 15 minutes over low heat. Then put the onion and carrots into the broth. Wait until it boils and cook the broth for another 5 minutes. Then add the chicken fillet to the broth. Wait until it boils again, reduce the heat to minimum.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Cook the broth for 40 minutes at a very low boil - then it will remain transparent. About 10 minutes before the end of cooking, add salt to the broth and, if desired, bay leaf and pepper. Remove the onion and carrots from the broth with a slotted spoon. The broth is ready and can be served. And you can cook any soup from it.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Before serving, you can strain the broth through cheesecloth - it will become clearer. You can add pieces of fillet, carrots, chopped dill, and a boiled egg to the plates. Bon appetit!

I made broth according to this recipe for my son, he was sick and didn’t want to eat anything. To support the body I give it chicken broth. Of course, it’s best to make broth from homemade chicken, but I don’t have any at the moment. I used regular breast as in the recipe. I put everything into the pan at once: chicken, carrots and onions. Cooked for almost an hour. I salted the broth at the end of cooking. I strained the broth through a strainer, because... Some flakes formed during cooking. The broth turned out tasty and rich. Although there is practically no fat in it, no spices or other additives at all, the broth is really tasty. It even helps a lot with colds. The recipe is simple and successful, thank you.

This broth is especially useful for those who are sick; it maintains strength very well. In general, I first bring the breast to a boil and only then add all the other ingredients, because they should be cooked over low heat and not boil. Of course, you need herbs there, not just dill, now is the season for parsley, and that will do just fine.

Delicious soup! I often cook this, although sometimes I add potatoes, pasta, garlic, bay leaves... depending on my mood. Thanks for the recipe! Here is a photo report -->>
