    STEP 1

How to bake charlotte with plums in the oven? Very simple! Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Read all the intricacies of preparing biscuit dough in the article at the end of this recipe.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Combine eggs with sugar and vanilla in a deep bowl. Beat with a mixer until the mixture turns light and the sugar is completely dissolved. Wash the eggs first in running water using a food detergent.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Be sure to sift the flour, this will make the baked goods more airy. Add the flour in parts to the eggs beaten with sugar. Mix everything with a mixer. You need to beat at low speed so that the dough does not settle too much. Remember that you may need a little less or more flour. Read more about the properties of flour in the article on this topic. There is a link at the end of this recipe.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Wash the plums in running water, dry, cut in half and remove the pits. Cut the resulting halves of plums in half. In general, the smaller you cut the plums, the more evenly they will be distributed throughout the dough. The dough itself is very airy and coarsely chopped fruits will not hold in it. Even though I cut it into slices, in the end all the plums sank down. And I had to turn the charlotte over.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the plums in the dough and mix gently with a silicone spatula.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the dough in a greased baking dish. Bake the charlotte for about 45 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C. Do not open the oven for the first 30 minutes, otherwise the dough will settle. Leave the finished charlotte in the cooling oven for another 10 minutes. Time and temperature are approximate, be guided by the operating characteristics of your oven. Read more about this in the article at the end of the recipe.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Cool the finished fluffy charlotte with plums slightly, remove from the mold and cut into pieces. Serve with hot aromatic tea, coffee or cocoa. Bon appetit!

Great charlotte recipe! There are a lot of plums this year, I don’t want them raw anymore) The pie is easy to prepare, without any hassles. But how delicious it turns out! The biscuit is airy, light, porous, simply weightless. By the way, I didn’t grease the sides of the mold with oil, thanks to this the sponge cake rose high. This is how I bake sponge cake layers. The plums are heavier than the dough; even when sliced, they sank almost immediately, and when the cake was baked, I turned it upside down. All the cream ended up on top. I sprinkled it with powdered sugar, it tastes better and looks nice) I made Charlotte with plums for the children for a picnic in the yard. Thanks for the recipe!

I’ve always made charlotte with apples, but this year I tried it with slightly underripe peaches and fell in love. Try it too.
