STEP 1
How to bake cauliflower in sour cream in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use fresh or frozen cauliflower for this dish, but you just need to defrost it first and drain the liquid. Sour cream can be of any fat content. Hard cheese, Russian or any other, is suitable, the main thing is that it is of high quality, tasty, and melts well in the oven. Take a large chicken egg; if the eggs are small, take two.

Beat an egg into a suitable container and add a pinch of salt. And beat it with a fork or whisk.
STEP 3
Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater, add sour cream to the container with the egg. You can add pepper to taste. If you like, add chopped dill or any other herbs to the mixture according to your desire and taste. Mix everything until smooth.
STEP 4
Prepare the cauliflower. Wash it under running water, remove large stalks with a knife and disassemble it into large or small inflorescences, as you like.
STEP 5
Pour high-quality filtered water into the pan. Put it on fire. When the water boils, salt it a little (about 0.5 tablespoon) and add the cabbage inflorescences to the pan. Wait for it to boil and cook over low heat for about 5-7 minutes.

Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cabbage to a colander to drain the water and dry the cabbage a little.

Grease the bottom and sides of the baking dish with a piece of butter. If you are using a silicone mold, it is not necessary to grease it.

Place cauliflower florets.

Pour the cabbage with sour cream, eggs and cheese. Place the form with cabbage in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake for about 25 minutes until lightly browned.

Cauliflower baked in sour cream can be served as an independent dish or as a side dish for meat, poultry or fish. The dish is suitable for a family lunch, a simple, light dinner and breakfast. This cabbage will be delicious warm or cold.
