STEP 1

How to make casserole with semolina without cottage cheese? Prepare the necessary products. Milk is suitable for any fat content. Also use any semolina of your choice.
STEP 2

Pour milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add salt and sugar, stir. Reduce heat.
STEP 3

Pour semolina into the milk in a thin stream. At the same time, be sure to continuously stir the milk in a circular motion so that lumps of semolina do not form. Cook the semolina porridge, stirring, for about 5 minutes. It turns out to be a thick consistency.
STEP 4

Add butter to hot porridge and stir. Cool the semolina to room temperature. You can transfer it to another container so that it cools faster.
STEP 5

Beat the eggs with a fork or whisk until smooth. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. 2 tsp. Add the egg mixture to the sour cream and stir.
STEP 6

Combine the egg mixture with semolina porridge and mix well.
STEP 7

Grease the bottom and sides of the baking dish with a small amount of butter. If you are using a silicone mold, you do not need to coat it with oil. But it is better to lightly grease metal, ceramic or glass dishes so that the casserole does not burn. Place the semolina mixture into the mold and smooth it out. I have a form measuring 18*18 cm.
STEP 8

Brush the top of the future casserole with a mixture of sour cream and eggs.
STEP 9

Place the casserole in an oven preheated to 180 C for 25-30 minutes. The casserole should be browned on top. Cooking time and mode may vary. Focus on the operating features of your oven. Remove the finished dish from the oven and cool in the pan.
STEP 10

Cut the semolina casserole into pieces and serve with jam, condensed milk, preserves. It is good both warm and cooled. Bon appetit!
