It’s the beginning of autumn, which means there are a lot of different vegetables on hand and you can start cooking delicious things. This time I made cabbage soup for the winter in jars with cabbage and tomatoes. I took vegetables by eye, focusing on the volume of my cauldron. It is good because it has thick walls and a bottom, so it can be stewed and fried. I chopped cabbage, onions and tomatoes, grated carrots on a coarse grater (I did not add bell pepper). I sent the vegetables to the cauldron, in which I preheated the vegetable oil. I waited until the vegetables gave juice and it boiled. From that moment on, I stewed the vegetables for 15 minutes. Then added salt and sugar and simmered for another 5 minutes. At the end, I added about a teaspoon of acetic acid. I rolled up two half-liter jars, still had a little left (half a jar), and cooked delicious, aromatic cabbage soup with the preparation. Their taste is delicate and rich. I really liked the cabbage soup! I will make a few more jars using this recipe! Thanks so much for the recipe!

Yummy, we almost ate it instead of salad. We added minimal vinegar, there is a cellar for storage. Very convenient. Thanks for the recipe for cabbage soup in jars with cabbage and tomatoes!

Cabbage soup in jars for the winter with cabbage and tomatoes is an excellent basis for the first one, which significantly saves time! An ideal option for me, since I don’t really like fiddling with vegetables every time when preparing soup.
