If you have seasonal tomatoes on hand, include them in the ingredient list. With them, the hodgepodge will turn out juicier and more tender.

    Rinse the cabbage under running water. Remove outer sheets. They often have damage and flaws. Cut the cabbage into medium-thick strips. The cutting method can be any. If you cut the head of cabbage into small cubes, the cooking time will change.

    Heat a small amount of odorless vegetable oil (2-3 tbsp) in a frying pan and fry the cabbage for a minute or two. Add a pinch of salt, stir and cook over low heat with the lid closed for 15-20 minutes.

I really love different types of solyanka with cabbage! And children also love it with sausages. My husband generally eats cabbage in any form. This recipe combined the tastes of all family members) I fried cabbage and fried sausages in two frying pans, it’s convenient and two components of the dish are cooked at the same time. It didn’t take long to cook, so I quickly fried my favorite hodgepodge for dinner. I didn’t add fresh tomatoes; I prefer to add tomato paste. I didn't use garlic either. For spices I used dried parsley, a little curry and paprika. The sausages were beef, they held their shape well and tasted good. Overall, the solyanka turned out to be very tasty, juicy, and a little spicy. I recommend it to all cabbage and sausage lovers)

We really miss stewed cabbage. I found this recipe for cabbage soup with sausages on the website and decided to cook it according to it. The recipe is simple, you always have ingredients for it in the refrigerator. I took white cabbage. Instead of tomato paste and tomatoes, I added tomatoes in their own juice from my winter preparations. I took my favorite smoked sausages. I didn't add garlic.
