Buffalo wings in the oven

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make buffalo wings? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Clean the wings, rinse well and dry with paper towels.
STEP 2
Cut the wings into 3 parts along the joint, set aside the tips (you can leave them for the broth).
STEP 3
We will use the remaining parts in this recipe. Transfer meat to a large bowl.

Add some salt.
STEP 5
Pepper it.
STEP 6
Add spices to taste - I took paprika and a mixture of peppers.
STEP 7
Pass the garlic through a press.
STEP 8
Pour in a little vegetable oil.
STEP 9
And mix everything well so that all the meat is evenly coated with the aromatic marinade.
STEP 10
Place the wings on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, spaced apart. The baking sheet can be additionally covered with parchment or foil. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Determine the exact time based on your oven.

As soon as you see that the wings are already browned and almost ready, start preparing the signature Buffalo sauce. To do this, melt the butter on the stove in a ladle or saucepan.

Add brown sugar to butter. The ladle should sit on the stove over low heat while you do this. Prepare all the ingredients for the sauce in advance so that you don’t waste time preparing them, but add them right away.

Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
STEP 14
Add tomato paste or good ketchup to the sauce and stir.
STEP 15
Add chili sauce, at least 1 tablespoon, and taste. If you don't have chili sauce, you can get by with just ketchup or tomato paste and add red hot pepper to taste.

Add a little ground black pepper and stir.
STEP 17
Pass the garlic through a press.
STEP 18
Stir the sauce, heat it almost to a boil, but do not boil, otherwise it may separate.
STEP 19
Remove the browned wings from the oven.
STEP 20
Add the wings to the sauce and stir, let them soak for 3-5 minutes.
STEP 21
According to the classics, serve buffalo wings with beer with stalked celery, carrot sticks and cheese sauce. Bon appetit!
