STEP 1

How to bake broccoli with cheese in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Both fresh and frozen broccoli are suitable for preparing this dish. Cream can be of any fat content, but remember that the higher the percentage of fat content of the products you use, the higher the calorie content of the dish.
STEP 2

Wash the broccoli and pat dry with paper towels. Disassemble it carefully into inflorescences. Boil water in a saucepan and add salt. Drop the broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes after boiling. There is no need to defrost frozen cabbage, just blanch it a little longer (about 5 minutes). Drain in a colander. Rinse with cold water to ensure the broccoli retains its vibrant color. Let the liquid drain.
STEP 3

In a separate container, mix cream and eggs. Add some salt. Whisk until smooth. For additional spices, you can add a pinch of ground nutmeg and ground black pepper to taste.
STEP 4

Use a coarse grater to grate delicious hard cheese that will melt well in the oven. Add to cream and egg mixture. Stir.
STEP 5

Any small heat-resistant pan is suitable for baking. I took two portion molds. Grease the bottom with butter or vegetable oil. Place the broccoli florets in an even layer. Fill with egg-cheese mixture. In advance (10-15 minutes before cooking), preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the dish for about 15-20 minutes. Remember that everyone's oven bakes differently, so the time and temperature may need to be adjusted.
STEP 6

When the cabbage becomes soft and a golden cheese crust forms on top, remove the pan from the oven. Serve the broccoli with cheese immediately before it cools. Before serving, you can sprinkle with chopped herbs.
