Boiled potatoes baked in the oven
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to bake boiled potatoes in the oven? Prepare everything listed in the recipe. The main ingredient is potatoes. Choose not very large tubers of approximately the same size. Since the potatoes will be cooked in their skins, they should be washed thoroughly, preferably with a brush, to get rid of excess dirt, soil, etc.
STEP 2

Place the potatoes in a saucepan and cover with water. Place the pan on the stove, bring to a boil over high heat, and add salt to taste. Reduce the flame to moderate and cook the potatoes until tender, with the lid half-closed. It will take from 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the type of potato and its size. You can check the readiness of the potatoes using a toothpick.
STEP 3

Drain the water from the pan and cool the potatoes slightly. Using a spoon, crush each potato as shown in the photo.
STEP 4

Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Place crushed tubers in one layer.
STEP 5

Place the filling on top of each tuber. What filling is better to make? It is permissible to fill it with various products at your discretion. For several potatoes you can add a teaspoon of butter, garlic sauce or grated cheese. Place the baking dish in a preheated oven and leave until the potatoes are browned. Temperature and time depend on the capabilities of your oven. I baked at 220 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
STEP 6

Rinse the greens and dry. Chop as finely as possible. Herbs that go very well with baked potatoes include dill, thyme, young green onions or fresh basil. You can use parsley, cilantro, etc. to taste.
STEP 7

Remove the finished potatoes from the oven and sprinkle with chopped herbs.
STEP 8

Done, serve before it gets cold!
