STEP 1

Dissolve sugar and salt in warm water. The amount of sugar can be reduced to taste. Add all other ingredients.
STEP 2

Knead a stiff dough that does not stick to your hands. Leave to rest for 15 minutes, covered with a bowl.
STEP 3

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 2 mm. It is very convenient to do this on a silicone mat.
STEP 4

To give the biscuits a layered structure, fold the dough and roll it out again. The thinner we roll out the dough, the more elegant and tastier the cookies will be.
STEP 5

Cut as desired. You can just use a knife, you can cut it out with cookie cutters, you can use a glass. Prick the sliced dough on top with a fork.
STEP 6

Bake the biscuits in the oven at 130-140 degrees for about 30 minutes. As soon as the biscuits are slightly browned, take them out. If you overcook them, they will be tough, but still tasty. Definitely tastier than store-bought counterparts!
