  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to marinate bell peppers in oil for the winter? Prepare your food. The preparation will turn out more interesting and bright if you use bell peppers of different colors to prepare it, placing red, green and yellow fruits in one jar. For pickling, take firm, fresh peppers. Rinse them thoroughly under running water, cut out the stalks with seeds. Rinse again to remove any remaining seeds.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the peppers into large pieces or quarters.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Prepare the marinade. How to make a marinade? Pour water into a saucepan, add vegetable oil and vinegar, sugar, salt, bay leaf and allspice. Turn on the heat, bring the mixture to a boil, stir until the sugar and salt dissolve. Place the prepared peppers into the marinade. Do this in batches, as all the peppers will not fit in the pan at one time and this amount of marinade will not fit.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

When the marinade and pepper come to a boil, stir it gently and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. This time is enough for such preparation. However, by changing the heat treatment time, you can change the taste of the pepper - make it softer by boiling it for more time, or crispier and more elastic by limiting it to five minutes. See according to your preferences.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Prepare jars for this preparation in advance - sterilize them in any convenient way: in a water bath, in the oven or in the microwave. Wash the lids of the jars and boil them.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Rinse fresh dill thoroughly and dry on a paper towel. Peel the garlic cloves and cut into slices or pieces.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place dill and a few cloves of garlic on the bottom of the jars, place pieces of bell pepper tightly on top, cover with dill, add garlic. If desired, you can omit adding greens and garlic, but they add a pleasant aroma and taste to bell peppers. Pour boiling marinade over the contents of the jars. Cover the jars with lids, then turn them upside down, cover them with a blanket and let them cool at room temperature. Store in a cool place.
