    Pre-boil the beets in boiling water until tender or wrap in foil and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 1 hour. Cool the finished beets, peel them and grate them on a coarse grater or a Korean carrot grater.

    Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. What cheese is suitable for this salad? Any - hard, semi-solid. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes. I have regular Russian cheese.

    Now prepare the mayonnaise-garlic sauce. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, garlic cloves passed through a press, ground black pepper and salt to taste. Mix everything thoroughly. You can replace fresh garlic with 1 tsp. dry. In addition to the indicated spices, you can add your own to taste. Since the degree of saltiness, sweetness, bitterness, pungency, acidity, pungency is individual for everyone, always add spices, herbs and seasonings, focusing on your taste!

    You can immediately mix all the ingredients together and serve in a salad bowl or form the salad in a ring. For a more festive option, you can form the salad in layers in a ring. Place a cooking ring (Ø 14-16 cm) on a plate. You can also take small portion rings with a diameter of 8-10 cm. Place part of the beets as the first layer and pour mayonnaise over it.

I really love boiled beet salads. I’ve cooked with butter, and with mayonnaise, and with nuts, and with prunes, and with peas, and with apples, but never with cheese. I decided to make a beet salad with cheese and garlic for a light dinner. I boiled the beets in advance the evening before using a pressure cooker. In the morning I grated the beets and also grated the cheese. I used Dutch cheese. Added mayonnaise and garlic and stirred. For 1 large beet I took 1 head of garlic, we love garlic very much. I didn’t make the salad in layers, I just mixed all the ingredients and laid them out in portions. Well, very tasty! Great salad. It is easy to prepare from ordinary ingredients. Today I made a beet salad with cheese and garlic. I wrapped the beets for the salad in foil and baked them in the oven for about 40 minutes, so they turn out juicy but not watery. I used hard cheese. I collected the salad in layers using a cooking ring with a diameter of 16 centimeters. Decorated the salad with the remaining cheese, beet roses and parsley. The salad turned out delicious, with a bright and rich taste! Beets give it a sweet and slightly tart taste, and garlic gives it a sharp and piquant flavor!
