Barbecue sauce made from tomato paste with cilantro

STEP 1
How to make tomato sauce for shish kebab from tomato paste with cilantro and garlic? Prepare all the products listed on the list. Instead of cilantro, it is permissible to use parsley or basil. If you use several fresh herbs at the same time, you will get a richer and more flavorful sauce. I used about 25 grams of cilantro and 5-7 grams of parsley. Choose good quality tomato paste.
STEP 2
If you have thick tomato paste, dilute it with water. How much water should I use? Make sure that the tomato mixture has a consistency similar to sour cream. I had a very thick paste, so I needed about 150-200 ml of water. Add the tomato paste to the frying pan and bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Next, remove the pan from the heat and cool the tomato mass.
STEP 3
Place the tomato paste in a blender bowl. Peel the garlic and pass through a press. Add to blender.
STEP 4
Rinse the greens under running cold water and dry with a kitchen towel. Chop the greens coarsely and add to the bowl with all the ingredients. Salt everything to taste, add sugar if necessary. Pepper and sprinkle with ground paprika.
STEP 5
Beat everything until smooth.
STEP 6
Transfer the finished sauce into a deep bowl or jar of suitable size. Place in the refrigerator for several hours to allow the sauce to absorb all the flavors.
STEP 7
Serve chilled tomato paste and cilantro sauce with kebabs and more!
