  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Prepare all the necessary products. Take a banana that is as ripe as possible, preferably a banana that has already slightly blackened - such bananas are the sweetest, and for a cocktail this is the most important thing. Take milk with an average fat content of about 2.5 - 3.2%. It is best to use whole milk - it is much healthier. But I also want to note that it would be a good idea to replace the milk with cream of minimal fat content, about 10%. Then the cocktail will be very satisfying and rich!

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To prepare this drink we will need an immersion blender and of course a bowl for this blender. Peel the banana, cut it in any way and place it in the blender bowl. Slicing a banana doesn't matter; you can even just break it with your hands. But for aesthetic beauty, I cut the banana into thin circles.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add vanilla sugar to the bowl. Of course, it is quite possible to do without this additive. But such cocktails are usually prepared for children. And children really love the aroma and smell of vanilla. Of some other additives, cinnamon is perfect here - children also really like it. I don’t recommend adding sugar, but still focus on the sweetness of the banana. For my taste: even with a not very sweet banana, sugar is not needed.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Gently pour in the milk in a thin stream. For a smoother smoothie consistency, I recommend using milk or cream and a banana at the same temperature. And since bananas cannot be refrigerated, you will need to remove the milk from the refrigerator in advance.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place an immersion blender in the bowl, turn on the minimum speed, beat for 3-5 minutes until a thick foam appears.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The cocktail turns out quite thick. To suit your taste, you can add not one, but one and a half bananas - then the taste will be even more banana-like.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour the finished cocktail into glasses, garnish with a slice of banana and serve. Bon appetit!

I made a banana milkshake for the kids and myself as a snack. It couldn't be easier to make, but it turns out great. The taste is amazing - soft, delicate, moderately sweet. I’ve made cocktails like this many times, but this is the first time I’ve made it with vanilla sugar. Vanilla perfectly complements the taste of banana. Thank you very much for the recipe!

I made a banana milkshake. The milk I used was 3.2% fat. Instead of vanilla sugar, I added regular vanillin on the tip of a knife. I whipped the cocktail using an immersion blender. The result was a very tasty drink, slightly sweet (natural sweetness and banana aroma), with a pleasant consistency. Thanks to the author for the recipe!

Natalia, thanks for the recipe! The drink turned out to be very tasty, quite aromatic, sweet, smooth, healthy and satisfying. This drink can be drunk simply as a snack, used in the preparation of sweet cereals or as an ingredient for desserts. I liked to pour this banana milk over breakfast cereal and granola. And further. The banana drink will be even tastier if, after preparing the milk, you put it in the refrigerator for a while. I liked the cold drink even more.
