  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake tuna in the oven in foil? Prepare your food. If your fish is frozen, defrost it by transferring it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Adjust the amount of garlic to your taste.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Clean the fish from scales, wash and gut it, carefully removing the entrails. Also rinse the inside of the carcass well. Dry the tuna thoroughly with a paper towel.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Season the fish well with salt and pepper, inside and out.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Prepare the marinade. How to make a marinade? In a cup, mix sour cream (any fat content), mayonnaise, garlic cloves passed through a press and dill. First wash the dill, dry it and chop it finely.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour in lemon juice and mix all ingredients well. The marinade sauce is ready. You can use only sour cream, without mayonnaise, then the calorie content of the dish will be reduced.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Take foil, it is better to fold it in two layers for strength. Place tuna on foil. Now coat it thoroughly with marinade sauce - both inside and outside, on all sides.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

The fish should be completely covered with sauce.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Wrap the carcass tightly with foil and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. This time will be enough for marinating. Turn on the oven to heat up to 160 degrees. Then place the fish in foil on a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

10 minutes before the end of cooking, cut the foil, open the fish and bake it until golden brown.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Serve the finished fish with fresh vegetables, mashed potatoes or rice. Bon appetit!

I took the recipe “baked tuna in the oven in foil” as a basis and made salmon according to this recipe. Having all the products in stock, this was not difficult. I cleaned the whole salmon from scales, took out the insides, washed them and sprinkled them with salt and ground black pepper. I prepared a marinade from mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, and chopped dill. I salted the marinade a little and added pepper. I marinated the salmon carcass in sour cream sauce and left it for half an hour. Then wrapped in foil and baked in the oven for 20 minutes. I decided not to let it turn brown, as I was afraid of drying out the fish. Whole salmon in sour cream, additionally sprinkled with fresh lemon juice and served. The result was an incredibly juicy and tasty fish. This sauce is ideal for baking fish. The combination of dill, garlic and sour cream is excellent. An incredibly aromatic and appetizing dish turned out for dinner. Many thanks to the author!

I cooked the tuna for more than an hour, but the meat was still a bit tough, it’s a pity, although it was delicious with sour cream
