  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake pears with dor blue or brie cheese? Prepare your ingredients. Choose ripe and juicy pears, not soft, but not very hard. In addition to brie cheese and cheese with green or blue mold, you can use regular hard cheese, preferably spicy, as well as mozzarella, pickled or for pizza. You can use any nuts for sprinkling the finished dish (they can be replaced with crumbled cookies).

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the chilled cheese (I used brie) into 4 long sticks. It is more convenient to cut cheese from the refrigerator.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash the pears, dry them and cut them in half.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Using a teaspoon, carefully scoop out the seeds and some of the pulp along the entire length. There should be longitudinal furrows.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place a block of cheese in each pear half.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Top the pears with honey. If you have candied or thick honey, first melt it in a water bath. Wash the thyme and dry it. Remove the leaves from the branches. Sprinkle the pears with thyme leaves. Place the pears on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake the dish for about 15 minutes at 180°C.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Sprinkle the finished pears with chopped nuts. You get an interesting taste with salted peanuts. I had crushed peanuts in caramel. It looks beautiful and has a nice crunch. Bon appetit!

The original dessert Baked Pears with Dor Blue or Brie cheese was a delight. Pear halves, filled with soft cheese, poured honey on top. When ready, sprinkle with cinnamon. Delicious both hot and cold. I liked it better cold. Thanks to the author for the wonderful recipe!
