  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make avocado spread for sandwiches? Choose avocados that are dark green in color and a little soft to the touch. If your avocado is firm and light in color, let it sit at room temperature for several days. It will ripen on its own. Peel a few cloves of garlic.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the avocado lengthwise in a circle and rotate the halves relative to each other to open it. Then remove the pit from it.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Using a teaspoon, scoop out the soft core of the avocado. I repeat that the avocado should be soft. Otherwise, it will be difficult to clean it. And the green fruit doesn’t taste very good. Place the avocado pulp in a blender bowl.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add garlic and olive oil to the bowl with the avocado. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon. You can add a little salt to taste. Lemon juice is necessary not only for taste, but also to prevent the avocado from starting to darken.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Cover the bowl with a lid and grind all ingredients into a smooth puree.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The taste of this spread goes well with fried croutons. Fry the pieces of loaf or baguette over high heat with the addition of a small amount of vegetable oil, or simply dry them in the oven. Give the croutons a little time to cool. Spread a little paste on each piece and garnish with a sprig of fresh herbs.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Serve these sandwiches immediately and help yourself. This will keep the croutons crispy. If you leave them spread for long-term storage, the loaf will become saturated with paste and will no longer have such an appetizing crunch. Therefore, spread the sandwiches just before serving. Bon appetit!

My daughter asked to buy an avocado, but she didn’t like the taste. So I used the leftovers to make my husband an avocado spread for sandwiches. The process is simple and straightforward. Peeled the avocado, cut it into pieces and placed it in a blender bowl. Since the volume of products is small, I used an immersion blender. I added a clove of hot garlic, fragrant olive oil and a little salt. I whipped it all until creamy. Avocado itself is buttery and tender. After beating, the mass became even softer and more airy. You can feel the inclusions of garlic in the spread and this is a very interesting sensation. In general, garlic and lemon juice enriched the neutral taste of avocado. My husband liked the spread and ate it with black bread.

Finally, I know what I can do with avocado that my whole family will love! A delicious spread, and I added parsley for taste. Well suited for both white and black bread. Good with bread too!
