    STEP 1

How to make apple chips in the oven at home? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is better to use firm apples with sourness. In this case, the chips will not be cloying, with a crispy crust. You can add other spices to your taste.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the apples, dry with a towel and cut into thin slices. Rinse the apple slices in cold water and dry again with paper towels. Some people add 1 tbsp to chopped apples. l. lemon juice. This way the apples will not darken and will acquire a soft sourness that will not disappear after drying.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Line a baking sheet with baking parchment. You can choose the right parchment paper by reading a separate article about the features of parchment, the link is at the end of the recipe. Place apple slices on parchment so that they do not overlap each other or touch each other to a minimum, otherwise those parts that lie on top of each other will not dry well.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Sprinkle apples evenly with vanilla sugar and cinnamon.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Turn the oven on to minimum temperature. For me it's about 50-60 degrees. Dry the apples for 1.5-2 hours. The oven door should be slightly open to allow steam to escape freely. The finished apples should have slightly wavy edges and a dry center. At the same time, the chips will not yet be crispy, since there will still be some moisture left in them. This is fine.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Remove the chips from the oven and cool to room temperature. They will become crispy. Store the chips in a dark place in an airtight container, wrapped in parchment. Bon appetit!

Healthy, natural PP sweets. They also make this wonderful marshmallow from apples.

I love fruit chips too) I usually dry them in an electric dryer, but why not cook them in the oven! Moreover, you certainly can’t add sugar in the dryer. On a large baking sheet I could fit just three medium-sized apples. I sprinkled it with vanilla sugar but didn't add cinnamon, I like it better without it. The apples were dried for more than two hours, then the temperature was set to 70 degrees. But the end result was very tasty chips. True, they did not become completely crispy, they bent just a little, but they were definitely not raw. The aroma of apples and vanilla was felt throughout the house) We ate this portion right after dinner; it goes well with fresh tea. Thanks for the recipe!
