    Sift the flour through a sieve to saturate it with oxygen. Then gradually add flour to the bowl and knead the dough. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the consistency of the finished dough.

    When the dough almost stops sticking to your hands, do not add any more flour. Add a little vegetable oil and knead the dough with your hands. The finished dough is soft and tender. Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and place in a warm place for 1 hour to rise.

    For the filling, wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices. Cut the ham into cubes. For the sauce, mix ketchup and mayonnaise.

I made thick American style pizza today. I kneaded the dough with yeast, egg and butter. True, I replaced butter with vegetable oil, but left its quantity unchanged. In order for the dough to rise well, I put it in a warm oven. There it increased several times in size, became soft and fluffy, and filled the entire volume of the pan. I divided it into two parts. From one I formed a round pizza base. I left the second one for buns. I greased the pizza blank with a mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup, put ham, tomatoes and cheese on it (I did not add champignons). I baked the pizza in the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of 220°. The dough still rose in the oven, the pizza came out really thick (in fact, the edges turned out to be thick, and the bottom remained thin, but visually the pizza looked thick). The dough turned out to be very soft, and the pizza was tasty, aromatic and very juicy (mayonnaise and ketchup helped). Thank you very much for the recipe!
