In this regard, one can understand why, for example, in Georgian cuisine, where a large number of meat dishes (roasted pig, pork kebabs, satsivi from all possible types of meat, and so on), a place of honor on the table is given to sour sauce - tkemali. Georgian sour sauce tkemali (it can also be sweet and sour, depending on the type of cherry plum from which it is prepared) is always served with all dishes that contain fried, baked or boiled meat. This is especially true for pork, which contains more fat than beef and lamb combined. If pork in sweet and sour sauce is served on the table, you don’t have to worry too much about extra pounds.
