You can come up with any filling: berries, cottage cheese, potatoes, mushrooms, for every taste. I like to eat it with butter or sour cream, but if it’s sweet, with berries, you can sprinkle it with sugar.

I made yeast dumplings according to this recipe, replacing the potato filling with apple filling. I prepared the dough very quickly. For the filling, I caramelized apples. I made the dumplings easily. The dough with sour cream turned out very good. It is so soft and tender. I decided to steam dumplings with apples; I think it tastes better this way. The dumplings turned out so delicious that they simply flew off the table. They seem to be airy, fluffy and soft. It's a pleasure to eat. The apple filling went perfectly with this dough. Next time I'll make it with a different filling. Nice recipe! Thanks to the author!

And these are just Kiev-style dumplings! My aunt taught me how to cook such dumplings twenty years ago. Only we cook with cherries. And I steam them. Yummy!!!!
