STEP 1

How to bake a turkey leg steak in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
STEP 2

For the marinade, combine soy sauce, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and lemon juice in a deep bowl. Mix everything.
STEP 3

Add basil, Provençal herbs, and salt to the marinade. Add salt carefully, because soy sauce already has a certain degree of saltiness.
STEP 4

Wash the turkey steaks, dry them and place them in a bowl with the marinade, thoroughly coating the meat with it. Marinating time is from 2 to 5 hours. The longer the steaks are marinated, the softer they will be and their flavor will be richer. If necessary, you can turn the steaks over during marinating so that they are soaked on all sides.
STEP 5

Remove the marinated steaks from the marinade and allow the liquid to drain from them. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the steaks in hot oil on both sides until golden brown. You need to fry quickly and over high heat, so the crust will form faster. It will prevent meat juices from leaking out, making the steaks more juicy.
STEP 6

STEP 7

Cook steaks at 190 degrees for about 45 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven.
