Tomatoes with aspirin
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to seal tomatoes for the winter with aspirin? For canning, take cream tomatoes, dense ones. Wash the tomatoes with cold water. Also wash the dill sprigs and peel the garlic cloves. Sterilize jars and lids. To seal in half-liter jars, choose smaller fruits.
STEP 2

Place sprigs of dill on the bottom of sterile jars. Place a bay leaf, 5 peppercorns and chopped garlic cloves into each jar.
STEP 3

Place the tomatoes in the jars tightly next to each other.
STEP 4

To add tomatoes for the first time, boil water.
STEP 5

Pour boiling water over the tomato-filled jars.
STEP 6

Cover the filled jars with sterile lids and let them sit for 15 minutes.
STEP 7

Then drain the water from the jars into a saucepan.
STEP 8

Dissolve salt and sugar in water. Place the pan on the stove and boil the water again.
STEP 9

Place half an aspirin tablet in each half-liter jar of tomatoes.
STEP 10

Pour boiling brine over the tomatoes with aspirin and cover the jars again with lids. Fill with water up to the shoulders.
STEP 11

Roll up the lids of the jars with a machine and turn the jars upside down. This is necessary in order to check the reliability of the seaming. If liquid does not leak through the lids, then everything is in order.
STEP 12

Cover the jars with a thick towel or blanket to keep the heat in longer, and leave them until they cool completely.
STEP 13

Store tomatoes with aspirin in jars for the winter at room temperature in a dark place without sunlight.
