I am familiar with the tulip tomato salad with melted cheese; I once made it, only with a different filling. I wanted to make a small bouquet for dinner. My tomatoes were not very juicy; I took out a few seeds with juice. Therefore, I reduced the amount of filling by half. My son ate everything that didn’t fit in the form of a salad) In addition to eggs, crab sticks and processed cheese, I added fresh cucumbers to the filling. I think they go well with all the ingredients. Before grating, I slightly froze the processed cheese to make it easier to grate. Dressed with mayonnaise with garlic and black pepper. I cut the tomatoes into 8 petals, so the filling fit better. For decoration I used green onions and parsley. “Tulips” turned out not only tasty, but also very filling. This appetizer is good served on a large oval dish for the holiday table, it looks impressive.
