Thin, crispy, sweet brushwood

STEP 1

How to make thin brushwood? Measure out the ingredients you need. Take premium quality wheat flour and sift it through a fine sieve to saturate it with oxygen.
STEP 2

Crack the chicken eggs into a deep bowl and whisk them with salt until foam appears.
STEP 3

Pour vodka into the egg mixture and whisk the mixture again.
STEP 4

Start adding sifted wheat flour little by little. Do not add all the flour - you may have more or less of it than indicated in the composition.
STEP 5

Knead an elastic, homogeneous dough. It shouldn't stick to your hands. It will hold its shape without being too stiff.
STEP 6

Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface.
STEP 7

Cut dough pieces into brushwood. I did this with a curly knife. I just cut long strips.
STEP 8

Then cut each strip into shorter ones. Just like in the photo. Make a longitudinal cut in the middle of each strip.
STEP 9

Heat a deep frying pan or saucepan on the stove. Pour vegetable oil into it and heat it. Dip the brushwood into the oil and fry it until golden brown.
STEP 10

Transfer the finished brushwood to a paper towel to remove excess fat. Then transfer the crispy brushwood to a plate.
STEP 11

Sprinkle the cooled sweet brush with powdered sugar.
