Step-by-step preparation

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry sweet donuts in oil? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Melt the butter in the microwave or in a water bath. Divide the egg into yolk and white. The protein can be put in the refrigerator; it will not be needed. Sift the flour into a deep bowl, add quick-acting yeast and stir. Read all about yeast in the article at the end of the recipe. Be sure to sift the flour. This will saturate it with oxygen, and the finished donuts will turn out more tender and fluffy.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

In a saucepan, heat the milk until warm, mixed with salt and sugar. The milk should be warm, but not scalding. Pour warm milk into the flour, add melted cooled butter and egg yolk. You can add a whole egg, but with one yolk (without white) the dough will be more tender. You may need less or more flour, depending on its properties. Read more in the article below the steps.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Knead the dough. For this I used a mixer with spiral attachments, kneading the dough at first speed until it came together into one lump.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Transfer the dough to a work surface that can be lightly floured if necessary, and knead with your hands for about 7 minutes. The dough turns out soft, pliable and does not stick to your hands. If necessary, you can add flour.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Form the dough into a ball, place it in a bowl, cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Knead the risen dough and place it on the table.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces, form them into balls, cover with cling film and leave to proof for about 10 minutes.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Next, cut out 8 squares from the parchment. Grease each with vegetable oil. Use your hands to make a hole in the very center of each ball. Place the blanks on the parchment and leave for another 20 minutes. They also need to be covered with cling film to prevent them from airing. This method helps keep the shape of the donuts and prevents them from deforming when placed in oil.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

You can start frying the donuts. To do this, pour refined vegetable oil into a frying pan with high sides (or other suitable container) and heat it strongly over medium heat, but not to a boil. Take the donut along with the parchment, bring it to the very edge of the pan, carefully remove it and place it in the oil. Make the fire moderate. Fry the donuts on one side until browned, about 1 minute.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Turn the donuts over to the other side and fry for about the same amount of time. Place the finished yeast donuts, fried in a frying pan, on a napkin so that excess oil is absorbed. While still hot, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!

Donuts are high-calorie baked goods, but tasty, so sometimes I treat myself. I also recommend cottage cheese donuts.

Thanks for the recipe! The donuts turned out very soft, fluffy and delicious! I’m making this for the second time in a week))) It’s perfect for tea! I’ve already baked donuts before (according to a different recipe), but they turned out more like regular yeast donuts. I decided to try this recipe, and I was not disappointed! You get real donuts! The dough is the most tender! Mixes very easily. It rises quickly. This is probably the best dough I've ever made. This dough is easy to work with and does not stick to your hands. The donuts turn out quite large. I have exactly 8 pieces. The first time I simply sprinkled the finished donuts with powdered sugar, this time I prepared glaze (powdered sugar, warm water, coloring). I covered half of the donuts with glaze, the rest with powdered sugar, and set them aside a little “without anything.” Next time I want to cover it with melted chocolate))) Absolutely everyone liked the donuts! They are eaten in one go!🤭 But cooking doesn’t take much time (except for the time while the dough rises). I recommend the recipe, it’s just super!!!🤩

The recipe is very cool! This was my first time making these donuts (before that I made them with cottage cheese once only without yeast). And here it’s a pleasure to work with the dough, everything is easy and simple to knead, the dough fits well, and most importantly, the donuts turned out to be very tasty 🤤🤤🤤I ate them and had a blast. Yes, inside they are not as airy as they sometimes are, but they are still soft and tasty. Thanks for the recipe, I've added it to my bookmarks
