My first strawberry, lemon and mint compote for the winter this year. This is the second year I’ve been making this “mojito”) My family really likes this drink, and if you add unsweetened soda and a little rum, then you’ll definitely get a strawberry mojito) Last year I realized that it’s better not to make compote with three-liter jars, we don’t have time for it drink in such volumes. Therefore, I began to prepare jars with a volume of one and a half liters. This time I used 600 ml jars. Using the calculator on the website, I calculated the proportions I needed. I prepared everything as written in the description. The strawberries were fresh, so I washed them of sand, filled them with water in a bowl and collected clean berries from the surface. The sand settles to the bottom. I have peppermint, with a “chill”, very refreshing. After cooking, I tried the leftover compote, I liked it, the taste was rich and refreshing. In winter it will be nice to open a jar and enjoy the sunny strawberry summer)
