STEP 1

Pour three hundred grams of sugar into a saucepan with the required amount of boiling water.
STEP 3

Stirring well, bring the water in the pan to a boil again and let the sugar dissolve completely.
STEP 4

Place five hundred grams of well-washed and peeled strawberries in a three-liter jar and add two slices of lemon to it.
STEP 5

Add one sprig of mint to the common jar.
STEP 6

Fill the jar with strawberries with the syrup boiling in the pan to the very top.
STEP 7

Wash well and pour boiling water over the lids of the jars.
STEP 8

Cover the jar with a lid that has been thoroughly washed and soaked in boiling water, then set aside for thirty minutes and let cool.
STEP 9

After thirty minutes, pour the syrup from the jar into the pan.
STEP 10

Place the pan with the syrup on the stove, then bring the syrup to a boil and boil it for exactly one minute.
STEP 11

Pour the hot syrup from the pan into the jar with the berries and fill it with syrup to the very top.
STEP 12

Cover the jar with a lid washed in boiling water and close it tightly using a sealing machine.
STEP 13

We check the prepared compote in jars for leaks by turning the jar upside down. If air bubbles leak out from under the cap, the cap is unusable and needs to be replaced.
