Stewed beans with bell pepper

One of the best bean dishes! Amazing taste, try it!!! Ease of preparation The recipe is ideal for you if guests suddenly arrive and there is no ready-made food in the refrigerator. Beans with bell peppers are a very satisfying and tasty dish that is easy to prepare and quickly eaten. Cut the onion into small cubes. You can also cut into half rings, but very thin. Fry the onion in oil until it becomes soft. Add beans to the container where the onions were fried, add water (about a third of a glass) and simmer, stirring occasionally. While the beans are cooking, wash and remove the seeds from the bell peppers. Cut the finished pepper into thin strips. Add the chopped bell pepper to the beans and simmer until the pepper is soft. This takes approximately ten minutes. At the end of the stew, you can add salt to your taste - I don’t add it, because the beans are usually moderately salted anyway. Also at the end of cooking, add garlic, which we cut into large slices. Beans with bell peppers are an excellent dish that can be eaten both hot and cold. Lady A, your recipe is very suitable for separate meals, that’s what I looked for, I now often use beans in cooking, although I like to add a little tomato sauce, this improves the color of the dish, but, really, if you cook according to your recipe with red Bulgarian pepper, but the dish will turn out colorful and beautiful, so you still need to experiment with the sauce, maybe it’s not needed (most likely). I’ll try it!

When should you add garlic?
