STEP 1
How to steam potatoes in a slow cooker? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them to remove dirt.
STEP 2
Cut the peeled potatoes into 2-3 pieces so that the pieces are approximately the same size. The larger the potatoes, the longer they will take to cook. Place the chopped potatoes in a steaming bowl. This bowl is included with every multicooker.
STEP 3
Pour a glass of water into the multicooker bowl.
STEP 4
Place the bowl of potatoes into the slow cooker.
STEP 5
Close the multicooker lid and turn on the “Steam” mode for 30 minutes. Be guided by your multicooker. There is no need to open the lid during cooking. As soon as the water in the bowl boils, the potatoes will begin to cook.
STEP 6
Melt the butter separately. Finely chop the fresh herbs. You can take any greens. It could be dill, parsley or green onions.
STEP 7
After the specified time, the multicooker will emit a sound indicating that the dish is ready. Open the lid. pierce the potatoes with a knife. The potatoes became soft.
STEP 8
Transfer the steamed potatoes to a plate. Pour melted butter, sprinkle with salt and herbs. Serve hot. This is an excellent side dish for any meat or fish dishes. Bon appetit!
