Sponge cake with plums

Delicate plum pie! Try a piece - you'll want more). This pie can be made with any fruit - today I have plums. It turns out incredibly tender and fragrant. Plum adds a pleasant sourness. Have a tea party at home with your family - everyone will be delighted!

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Let's prepare the products. Turn on the oven at 180 degrees to heat up.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Beat the eggs into a deep bowl and beat them with a pinch of salt using a mixer.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

This is how strong the foam should be.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Now add sugar (leave one tablespoon aside) and continue beating for 5-7 minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

This is the consistency you should get. Now put the mixer aside.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Sift the flour with baking powder and add spoonfuls to the dough, gently kneading with a spatula or spoon.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour the dough into the prepared pan. I have a silicone one, so I don’t lubricate it with anything.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Wash the plums, dry them, cut them in half, remove the pits and cut the halves in half again.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the quartered plums on top of the dough in a pattern)))

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Now sprinkle the top with sugar - it will give us an appetizing crust) Place in a preheated oven for 40 minutes.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

After time has passed, check the pie for a dry splinter. If it is dry, the pie is ready and remove it from the oven. Leave it in the mold for 15 minutes...

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Then carefully remove the pie onto a plate. You can sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

We cut it into portions and invite everyone to drink tea))) Bon appetit!

I almost missed it, but fortunately I saw that it was your recipe, Olechka, and of course I read it. Delicious little thing, I love plums and usually they don’t live up to baking or jam. But I’ll try to bake them in the city, something tells me that this pie will take root in our house. Yes, that’s good about the splinter, but at least approximately how much time is needed (otherwise I’ll be poking this splinter into the pie every 5 minutes) Glad to see your recipe, thank you!
